ADMISSIONS

  • The centre adheres to GDE admission policy. Learners are admitted from 6 years to 13 years.
  • Admissions are carried out all year round depending on the space availability
  • Learners are referred by the district to the school.
  • The centre accepts learners who are severely intellectually impaired , moderately and mildly impaired

CURRICULUM

The centre follows the national curriculum statement under the GET band. It is classified under the foundation phase, hence the enforces is on skills training. Learners do not cope academically. Skills that are taught at the centre are the following:

•  Tapestry
•  Decoupage
•  Fabric Painting
•  Candle Making
•  Sewing

SPORT AND CULTURE

•  Soccer
•  Athletics
•  Swimming
•  Netball
•  Cricket
•  Table Tennis
•  Dance Sport

The centre also participates in cultural activities like music, drama, arts and craft.
